BJBE offers a range of high quality programming for young children and the adults who love them. All of our classes are taught by caring professionals, with an expertise in facilitating intergenerational interactions in a developmentally appropriate way. Little Explorers - This program offers toddlers 10-24 months old the opportunity to learn and explore in an environment that enhances all areas of development including social/emotional, cognitive, fine and gross motor. The structure of the class gives toddlers a “snap-shot” of the preschool experience. This weekly seventy-five minute class weaves Judaic values, traditions and songs into each class session. Each class begins with socialization time for adults before transitioning to a short circle time for songs, finger-plays and instruments. Opportunity to explore all learning areas including art, dramatic play, manipulatives, and block play, sensory and gross motor activities are included in this developmentally appropriate program. Age: 10-24 months
Shalom Shabbat - This program offers toddlers 10-24 months old a chance to enjoy rituals and music of Shabbat and the Jewish holidays. This weekly forty-five minute class weaves Judaic values, traditions, storiesand songs into each class session. Stay at the end of class to join the ECC celebration of Shabbat with the clergy each week. Age: 9-30months

Special Family Shabbat Programming
Tot Shabbat - Celebrate Shabbat with your toddlers in this fun and energetic service which includes joyous music and a Shabbat story for children. Then join us immediately following the service for challah, grape juice, and a creative family art project. Second Saturday of the Month (October–May), 9:30am
Matzah Ball Shabbat - Join the BJBE community for a bowl of matzah ball soup and challah followed by an uplifting, inspiring multi-generational service featuring our Kol Simchah Youth Choir and a story for children. Third Friday of the Month (October – May), 5:15pm Matzah Ball oneg, 6:00pm Service
