Shabbat Torah Study: Numbers
Saturdays, 11:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m.
Instructors: Rabbi Karyn Kedar
Five years ago, we began studying the Torah from the beginning. This year we will begin the Book of Numbers. We explore the Torah verse-by-verse, picking up each week where we left off the week before. For Torah study veterans and beginners alike, this is a meaningful and thought-provoking exploration of our most cherished book. New students are always welcome.
Talmud Study
Wednesdays, 7:45-9:00 a.m.
Instructor:
Reform Jews at BJBE and around the world are rediscovering the study of Talmud and other rich, thought-provoking, and inspiring classical texts. Using English translations of the texts in a casual conversational format, we will continue to explore the wisdom of our Jewish sages and discover insights that constantly change our perspective on modern living, deepen our relationship with God, and transform our way of being in the world. The group meets on an ongoing basis throughout the year and you are welcome to join in at any time.
