American Israel Public Affairs Committee (AIPAC)’s mission is to help Israel fight terrorism, nuclear weapons and other threats to its welfare. AIPAC is a 100,000-member national grassroots movement described by The New York Times as "the most important organization affecting America's relationship with Israel. As America's leading pro-Israel lobby, AIPAC works with both Democratic and Republican political leaders to enact public policy that strengthens the vital U.S.-Israel relationship.

Project Timeline

2002 Our Demographic Task Force begins a detailed analysis of our congregation’s demographics, as well as trends in the Jewish population of Chicago's northern and northwest suburbs.

2003 Their work shows that the areas of rapid growth are occurring to the north of BJBE, in Northbrook, Deerfield, Buffalo Grove, and surrounding areas.

2003 The Board of Trustees engage fundraising specialists EHL Consulting to interview members and analyze BJBE’s fundraising capability.

The Village Center
