38th Day of the Omer
There are two factors that accustom one to humility: habit and contemplation. Habit means that a person gradually adapts a modest manner of behavior...when he habituates himself in this manner, step but step, the virtue of humility will become internalized within him. Contemplation is the awareness that we come from dust and to dust we will return, and the understanding that we stand before God.

Baruch Ata Adonai Elo-hei-nu me-lech ha-olam a-sher ke-d-sha-nu b- mitz-vo-tav, v-tzi-va-nu al s-fi-rat ha-omer.
Praised be you Adonai our God who rules the Universe instilling within us the holiness of mitzvot by commanding us to count the Omer.
Today is the thirty-eighth day - five weeks and three days of the Omer.
