This Tuesday I will be taking a ten hour road trip to Primrose Valley Farm in WI with Julie Rachman and Terri Argentar. It is a CSA farm owned and run by our members Jamie and David Baker. This farm is a special and magical place. There, on the farm, stood a great, old and exquisite Walnut Tree, that needed to be cut down. David has been drying it for sometime now and we, the road travelers, go on this pilgrimage of sorts to examine and discern the raw planks that will become the Ark in our new sanctuary. Over the course of this week, many of you have seen the moving videos and pictures that have been posted on Facebook by members of our BJBE Women of the Wall delegation. These images capture their time in Jerusalem, especially their powerful experience at the Western Wall on Rosh Hodesh with hundreds of other women who came to support religious pluralism.
